Baby Matthew is 4 months old :)

I can't believe how fast 4 months have gone by! Our sweet little boy ( not to little anymore), is now 4 months old. We introduced solid foods ( I know, most people won't do it until they are older), but he was showing all of the signs that he was ready for it, and so he was! Here is a picture of his first time eating sweet potatoes.
Although I've seen babies roll over before 3 months, baby Matthew finally rolled over at 3 and 1/2 months! We were so excited that when we grabbed the camera it was already too late.
Matthew can also sit down on his own for about a couple of minutes until he realizes I am not holding him anymore and he pushes himself back down.

Our baby loves to get baths, He will kick his legs so hard as if he was swimming,
and he gets this huge smile on his face when he splashes the water with his hands.
We bought him an exersaucer, and he seems to love it. He grabs the toys and leans
himself forward so he can chew on them. Here is another picture of Matthew, this time
he is playing on his exersaucer.

We are in!

Ok, So for the past few months Richard has been working in getting into the Army!!! We didn't want to tell anyone because we weren't sure if he will sign in or not ( I wasn't too convinced at the time). Anyways, after Richard graduated the Police Academy he finally had enough credits for him to sign into the Army and get a decent job that way. He passed his physical and he was sworn in last Thursday! He is going to be a Unmanned aerial vehicle operator! At least that's what I understood!!! We are really excited to start our new military life. Although baby Matthew is still little and daddy is going to basic training for 9 and 1/2 months, we are sure he will remember him when he comes back!
Now let's talk about me! I got an internship at a High School in Springville, that is 3 blocks away from my house, I have already started and so far I'm loving it. Graduate school won't start until hopefully next year, after my husband comes back from basic training... So far we are doing great, I know most people will think we are crazy for joining the army around this time, but I couldn't stop my husband from doing what he felt was right!
Here is a picture of us at Richard's graduation from the Police Academy!
